One of the best feelings that I have had during this whole process of making this book is the response from people like you as they read my story. I have really been taken back by the way people have had an emotional attachment to my words that I have written.

   I first thought that this book would be a great book for a father but as I began to share this book with people I surprisingly learned that this book had began to take on a life of its own. There were mothers wanting to buy it for there daughters. I remember watching a grandmother reading and reacting to my story. I first thought she wanted to get one for her grandchild. But once again I was wrong. She said that hearing those words brought her back to that time when her 45 year old son was a toddler. She wanted to give this to him to remind him just how much he had meant to her all those years ago. I love hearing all of those stories. Watching the reaction of people reading my story for the first time is truly priceless.
